BMW 735i CAR MAGAZINE PHOTOGRAPHY

13/01/2021
Produced from April 1994 to 2001, the BMW E38 was the third generation of the BMW 7 Series. The flagship represented an attractive evolution in design language of the prior E32 generation. The new 7 was available with straight-six, V8 and V12 petrol and straight-six and V8 diesel engines. In 2001, the E38 was replaced by the E65 7 Series.

The E38 was the first car available with curtain airbags. It was also the first European car to offer satellite navigation and the first BMW to offer an in-built television. This 735i example also had the Nokia "hands free"phone installed, remember this was twenty plus years ago so a real advance in technology. The exterior green metallic paint and beige leather upholstery gives this car an air of oppulanece, partnered with the walnut inserts in the interior it belies its age, and as you'd expect from a BMW still drives with an air of grace and comfort.

The photography took place at G81 in Corby, Northamptonshire and is one of many luxury German cars that the company retail. The full shoot and article will appear in a future edition of BMW Car magazine.
