The Kia Stinger GT was delivered last year as the companies answer to the Audi & BMW sport coupe/GT cars. It’s a solid first effort at a sporting family car that proves the Korean brand is heading in a positive direction. Kia's GT-S model has a 3.3 litre twin turbo V6 which produces 365 bhp, with a 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds it will out perform most hot hatchbacks and is on a par with the leading German brands. The equipment is nicely integrated, and in GT-S spec the Stinger has an attractive interior that boasts a nicely finished cabin, balancing this with plenty of practicality. Heads up display, blind spot monitoring, heated and air called seats are just some of the spec on this model, in the Hi-Chroma red pearlescent paint the car really stands out, especially against the back drop of Broome Park Country Hotel, situated just outside of Canterbury.

Broad Oak Motor Group have just taken over the Kia franchise in Canterbury and as they have the VW brand as well the Arteon came along for a twin car photography shoot, in a deep black metallic the two cars looked great together, surely a sign of how the Kia brand has come along when it can compete with looks against the top German marques. The car used in the photos is currently on sale at Kia Canterbury, well worth checking out if you are in the market for a comfy and performance led practical 5 door coupe/GT.
