JO BRAND OPENS NEW UNIVERSITY CAMPUS

The TV personality was the star turn at the opening of Canterbury Christ Church University's new Salomons Centre yesterday. Jo was awarded an honorary doctorate from the university in 2014, for her work raising awareness of mental health issues and challenging the stigma surrounding these illnesses.
The event marked the official opening of the Salomons Centre for Applied Psychology, located on Meadow Road, Tunbridge Wells. The building will offer postgraduate courses in the areas of applied psychology and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Discussing the opening of the new building, she explained that "in the current political climate where there's not a lot of money around, to see an education establishment growing is a good thing."
The photographs will be used in local, national press as well as online to promote the University facility.
