London Resort Company Holdings (“LRCH”) announced that the company has reached a Memorandum of Understanding with MBNA Thames Clippers to provide direct river bus services to the London Resort via the River Thames. It is anticipated that up to 10% (approximately 1.5 million) of the anticipated 15 million annual visitors will make use of MBNA Thames Clippers’ fast ferries to travel to and from the Entertainment Resort, further opening up the area to London and the South East. Details of the services will be finalised closer to the opening of the Resort, but include linking the London Resort with Tilbury and Grays to south of the river and Central London, with an opportunity for MBNA Thames Clippers to deliver a Park and Ferry service from Tilbury docks.

British company LRCH is the developer behind the plans to create a Global Entertainment Resort without parallel in the UK, one of the top ten theme parks in the world with globally recognised brands, stories and characters from the world of television, film, books and games. MBNA Thames Clippers operate fast ferry services for both the commuter and leisure markets, from Putney in the West via Central London to Royal Woolwich Arsenal in the East, under licence from London River Services.
