KENT UNIVERSITY ART EXHIBITION PHOTOGRAPHY

22/05/2017
Continuing a tradition of showcasing bold, exploratory exhibitions, framed by the stunning backdrop of one of the country's most iconic locations, the Historic Dockyard Chatham, visitors encountered a broad range of artistic styles and media from graduating BA and MA Fine Art students. The range of media used showed the creative way in which art is being promoted as a medium, the traditional sculpture and paintings were present but with video playing a massive part of the future it was used to an innovative and original degree by the University students from the School of music and fine art.

Internationally acclaimed artist Jeremy Deller gave a passionate speech to the students and visitors prior to the official opening. The photography brief was to capture the guests enjoying the art work and also talking to students about the thought process behind each piece, the Dockyards is a great space for the students to work in and always works well for clean and light images. The photos will be used by the University of Kent to promote this event and future exhibitions.
