BROOKLANDS MUSEUM CAR PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE

27/03/2017
Automotive photography has dominated this month, mainly due to the good weather and editorial commissions have made it a busy time in terms of location photography. The number of cars I have photographed has been diverse, todays selection of cars at Brooklands for my car photography course was no different. American muscle cars dominated with two lovely 1960's Mustangs, a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder and BMW i8 stole the show and other additions included a Morgan Plus 4, Porsche 911 Targa, Aston Martin DB7, Porsche 944 We also had the latest hot hatch Black Edition sensation in the shape of the Honda Civic Type R, kindly lent by Barretts Honda in Canterbury.

On todays course I had six photographers, all from different backgrounds who wanted to take their photography one step further. The main purpose of the course is to teach the photographers about composition, framing and what areas of the cameras manual mode to use for certain situations. The glorious sunshine aided and hindered on some cars, lighting is the most important aspect when photographing cars and some tricks of the trade were handed out during the course of the day. The next car photography courses will take place in April on the 16th, if you are interested in booking a place or purchasing a gift voucher for a present please do not hesitate to contact me.
