SPINNAKER TOWER & BASEPOINT PHOTOGRAPHY IN PORTSMOUTH

The weather wasn't ideal as it was drizzly and very flat in terms of lighting, ideally an hour earlier and the lighting on the quayside would have been superb, but that would have meant a 4am start! I went for a variety of angles of the tower which I hadn't seen before, more can be seen on my Facebook page. The flat sky meant that some black and white post production gave a more starker and graphic edge to the images.

After leaving Portsmouth I had the photography to cover for Basepoint centres in Gosport and Havant. The forecast had mentioned some rain but fortunately it stayed dry for the duration, some tight cropping on the buildings leaving a minimal amount of sky and some post production with curves and colour saturation produced a good range of dynamic images. Eighteen down ten more to go!
