WELCOME
Since setting up Jason Dodd Photography in 2005, I have become an established freelance photographer with considerable experience in automotive, commercial, press, music, sport and press photography.
Based in Canterbury, Kent, but regularly working across the UK and as Europe I understand that clients often require people to go the extra mile. I am the official photographer for The Full Monte charity that runs an annual supercar fundraising trip across Europe. Over the last two years this has meant working in France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Monaco.
As a photographer my assignments cover a wide range of subjects – some of which you can see in the sample galleries and blog. My portfolio includes photography for advertising campaigns, web sites, company literature, internal and external architecture, entertainment shots, abstract images and much more. I use the very latest Canon professional digital cameras. Images can be manipulated and supplied via email, CD, DVD and FTP – often on site when required immediately.
I have a very flexible approach to work and am available around the clock to cover a broad spectrum of commissions. Past clients and commissions have included: Asda, Canon, 2008 Chelsea Flower Show, Morgan Sports Cars, Shepherd Neame, the Institute of Financial Services as well as the 2007 Tour De France.
Towards the end of 2008 I published my first photographic book, A day in the life of Canterbury Cathedral, which went on sale through Waterstones and the Canterbury Cathedral shop. All of the proceeds go to the Save Canterbury Cathedral Appeal with sales so far totaling more than £6000.
Over the last year, I have launched Carzpix to deal specifically with my automotive photography. To mark this exciting beginning, I held a number of exhibitions and began a series of exclusive car photography training courses at the historic Brooklands museum in Weybridge, Surrey, these are on going and have been publicised in Classic and Sports Car magazine.
I have also been a regular lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University covering their photography degree course. I run the Kentish Photography Club in Canterbury and also offer bespoke one-to-one training all over the UK as well as general courses in digital photography.
